The Federal government of Pakistan and Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) are stepping up their support for Palestinians.
This was announced by Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister's adviser on political affairs, during a press conference in Islamabad. He was joined by Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, local officials, and TLP members.
They plan to send one thousand tons of aid—food, medicine, and other essentials—to Gaza. TLP will help with these efforts, ensuring more aid reaches those in need.
The government of Pakistan has openly and officially condemns the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinians, which have harmed children, schools, and hospitals. The current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif (originally from PMLN) has criticized these actions at international meetings, including the recent SCO Summit in Kazakhstan.
Sanaullah described Israel as a terrorist state and accused its leader, Benjamin Netanyahu, of war crimes. He pledged Pakistan’s support for the Palestinians and called on the international community to hold Netanyahu accountable.
A new committee will track companies in Pakistan that might be indirectly or in any other way supporting Israeli genocide or its cruel actions. The government also plans to provide medical help and, if possible, send doctors to treat injured Palestinians.
If the Palestinian authorities arrange it, Pakistan will accept injured Palestinians for treatment. Pakistani schools and hospitals will offer education and medical care to those affected.
The government appreciates Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan’s commitment and vows to continue working to end the violence against Palestinians. Efforts will also be made to speed up the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.
